AEON MALL CO., LTD. and AEON MALL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD. (The ” Our Company “) are very delighted and pleased to announce that we have decided to develop the country’s first multifunctional logistics center business which will serve as a platform for overseas logistics in the Kingdom of Cambodia (Hereinafter refer to as “the Country”). For the development of this business, AEON MALL (CAMBODIA) LOGI PLUS CO., LTD. will be established as a wholly owned subsidiary of AEON MALL (CAMBODIA) CO., LTD.
As a measure for sustainable economic growth, the Royal Government of Cambodia has been integrating the Sihanoukville Port Special Economic Zone located in its hinterland as a free trade port to be a largest cargo trade volume transaction in the country in collaboration with Japanese Government and the Sihanoukville Autonomous Port which receives technical cooperation from JICA. Our company will become the first pilot company to realize this concept initiative. In the Sihanoukville Port Special Economic Zone, we will establish and operate a multifunctional logistics center equipped with the necessary licenses required for cross-border E-commerce businesses including bonded warehouse functions, as well as customs clearance agency and fulfillment center functions.
Through these efforts, our company will contribute to the further development of the country by improving customer convenience, providing business opportunities and services to a wide variety of businesses, including our own, as well as solving the logistics problems of all companies in Cambodia through services such as bonded warehouse and customs clearance.
